Taylor’s 1892 Alaskan Takedown Lever Rifle (.357 Mag & .44RM)

Taylor’s been selling this takedown levergun for several years. It is based on the Chiappa 1892. Weighs 6 lb, 16″ barrel, 34″ overall, MSRP $1800

Ruger LCP MAX

The more I think about this .380 gun, the more I like it. You can do 10 + 1 with the standard mag or do 12 +1 with the extended. (vs 6+1 std & 7+1 ext on the LCP II) Carry a 2nd extended mag and you have 25 pews and 2 std mags +1 gets you blackjack. You also get a Tritium sight and a drift adjustable rear sight. (BodyGuard-pattern) Empty weight and overall length are the same as the II at 10.6 oz and 5.17″. The barrel is 0.05″ longer at 2.80″ and the slide 0.06″ wider at 0.81″. It is 0.41″ taller at 4.12″ MSRP $449 Ruger.com

KelTec P50

To have been a fly on the wall when the KelTec folks brainstormed doing a pistol that uses an FN P90 50 round mag…

It’s got a 9.6″ barrel (1/2″ x 28 threaded) 15″ overall length, 6.7″ high and 2″ wide. Empty weigh of 3.2 lb. MSRP of $995 and you get 2 mags. I like that to reload you lift the barrel and shroud and it evokes loading a belt-fed MG…lol, where’s the full-auto version?

I’m sad Stargate is off the air – maybe we see the P50 in a future series…and ammo isn’t so crazy high / hard to get… keltecweapons.com
